Yep, I fell off the meal plan bandwagon ... for a good long while. Really, it's more like I was pushed off. I haven't posted a meal plan since the end of October. But I think I have good excuses ... dozens of doctor's appointments in the month of November ... gave birth at the beginning of December ... and had meals provided for my family throughout the month of January. But here it is February, and I'm out of excuses. It's time to put dinner on the table ... on a more regular basis.
And here's what I've got for this week ...
Sunday - Brinner
Monday - Sausage Potato Soup
Tuesday -Beef Brisket, Mashed Taters, Green Beans
I'm pulling the brisket from the freezer thanks to my awesome MIL, who cooked when she was here in December.
Wednesday - Lasagna
Thursday - Reames Chicken Noodle Soup
The recipe is on the back of the package. My mom made it recently and had good things to say about it.
Friday - BLTA Wraps
Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Avocado ... yumm-Y
Saturday - Leftovers or Jimmy Johns
Baking from Scratch - Applesauce Carrot Cake
This is a new goal of mine, and something I am hoping to do with NHV. Last week we watched an episode of Super Readers that featured Super Why baking this recipe as a birthday cake for this little sister.
