We still followed it with Sam....although we kept a middle of the night feeding until about 6 months. I don't know what to tell you, dear....I've only had 1 baby, and she was a good sleeper....perhaps in a few months I will be a zombie and you can laugh at me.BJ_Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11260831914072358712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324936726829398520.post-13506680290118147582010-08-11T21:31:44.079-07:002010-08-11T21:31:44.079-07:00The book is in the mail. It is HARD on mommy for sure.

Has your dr/pediatrician given any helpful advice? Are they still worried about her weight? Is she crying desperately, like she's starving at night, or is it a cry about wanting mommy, or is it a cry of pain (i.e. gas/tummy issues/baby reflux)? Teething?? It can be really painful too (are you trying the natural teething tablets? Sorry, I can't remember). Just throwing out some questions I'd be asking myself ...

Is there an aroma therapy that you could have in her room that helps w/ relaxation and brings on a bit if drowsiness?

Of course, ultimately, I think you do have to use your own mommy instincts no matter what book you read, program you follow, or advice you receive.

Okay, I wish I could help more my friend... but there are some of my random thoughts!Go Zesty with Dee!https://www.blogger.com/profile/10799756249909731144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4324936726829398520.post-32547557684947890542010-08-10T17:21:03.848-07:002010-08-10T17:21:03.848-07:00All I can say is I'm certain this is normal. T...All I can say is I'm certain this is normal. Though it may seem a bit frustrating, babies will change their sleeping pattern from time to time.

My son slept through the night when he was 2 months old. At 5 months he cried himself to sleep for 30-60 minutes and then awoke again around 3 a.m. He did this for 3 months. At 8 months he was able to self sooth quicker and didn't wake up in the early a.m. He's now almost a year and enjoys talking himself to sleep for about 40 minutes and wakes up much earlier.
It's just a baby thing. It's a shame that we have to adjust to them and not the other way around but it happens!
Good luck!Shelbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12197495222298685565noreply@blogger.com
